It’s not Rocket Science; it’s Building Science. As one cubic foot of air rises and escapes through the openings in the ceiling, one cubic foot of air enters the house somewhere else to equalize the pressure. This air entering through cracks and gaps in the building shell often brings with it pollutants, pollen, and moister. Imagine trying to keep a balloon filled with lots and lots of little holes.
